| Lygia is a small coastal village approximately 5km South
of Lefkas Town. As well as being convenient for the main town with its
shops and supermarkets Lidia also has a few local shops. In the summer
it has some nice beaches and some very good restaurants near the
harbour. The hills behind Lygia have very nice views. Nikiana is 10 km
South of Lefkas Town, on the East coast. It is a little larger than
Lygia, and is only a few minutes drive from the popular summer resort of
Nidri. The hills behind Nikiana have very good views North and South,
and across the sea to the islands of Skorpios, Meganisi and the mainland
