| The island of Meganisi, to the East of Lefkas, is
reached by a ferry from Nidri in only 20 minutes. The two ferry ports on
the North coast, Spilia and Vathi, give access to the two hillside
villages of Spartohori and Katomeri. The island has good roads and is
very popular for walking. It is peaceful and friendly, and is popular in
the summer with passing yachts and flotillas. This map shows a selection
